I've had this old S&W Model 34-1 for many years and have a few questions concerning the 3 Ts...the revolver is in really nice condition, has the target grips, trigger, and I'm pretty sure the hammer too...is this common on a Model 34..? I didn't pay it much attention until a buyer of another gun asked me about selling the grips...I've seen the 3 Ts on other models but I'm not sure how common they are on the j-frames...

Since I've noticed the "T"s on this Model 34-1 I've looked at others and have looked at quite a few photos on the internet and none have the three "T"s. I've also looked at the S&W Catalog and it doesn't have any information on a target Model 34. Maybe when I get a little time I can try to find a source for factory records listing configurations for the Model 34. Might also find something out on the S&W forum site...I haven't joined over there, but I've visited the site time to time...here's a few photos...

My understanding is that any K-frame revolver could be ordered with the target trigger, target hammer or grips.
