Let's see some pictures! Also what mods are done, how he/she is set up, and what it's primary purpose it serves.

So here's my chance . . . a plain Jane Savage 93 FV with a workman Simmons .22 mag 3-9 AO scope. A bit of Krylon camo using maiden grass for a pattern. I hunt with it but normally just launch 30 - 50 gr. bullets at 100 yard targets. Purpose? It makes me happy.

I like it. You did a good job on the paint. How does it shoot at 100?

Here is my Henry H001TM with a Malcolm 6x scope. The leather wrap helps protect the buttstock and gives it a western look. I use it for plinking.

I have a Weaver V24 scope on this Henry H001M. I added the Monte Carlo stock to raise the cheekweld. Its another plinker.

The middle two are .22WMR and are plinkers. They started life as .22LR pistols (Mare's Legs). I converted them to .22WMR by cutting down WMR barrels and changing the bolt and carriers along with a few other parts. The scope one has a round barrel and the other one has the octagon barrel.

The wife and I were driving on a highway near home one day recently, when I noticed a very nice new home along the way....where I had never noticed one before. So I asked her how long it had been there. Her response? "Oh only about ten years."

So when I saw this forum I thought, "Hmmmm, never noticed this one before." But I knew that didn't mean anything with me...I'm not too observant. :D

Here is my one and only .22 WMR.......a 452 Lux. I checked my average last year for all five shot groups shot at 100 yards with all types of ammo....it was right at .8". It shoots very well, but really likes the CCI Maximags.....which is good since I am well stocked on those. :bthumb:

My WMR's....

Sterling Model 15

Try the Hornady 45gn Critical Defence ammunition in a WMR and be amazed at the end result. Spectacular with water filled cans and not much left of them afterwards except the rim, base and metal shards!

My Anschutz 1720D. Purchased (as new) on this forum. Refinished the stock (only because factory finish did not do the grain justice), bedded it and tweaked the trigger (now about 16 ozs.). Very accurate with it's preferred ammo. Taken lots of fur and feathers with it.
