Listed as "Good" condition. No doubt in my mind that it should have been listed "As New In Box" 1969 Mfg.
There is absolutely no indication that this gun was ever fired!
I will soon rectify that... :)

Very nice. Identical to my very first handgun. I bought it when I was 15 from my friend's father, without telling my parents. This was in the SF Bay Area, and I guess we would both go to jail for doing that now. Interestingly, I traded it and an unremembered sum of cash for my first AR-15 when I was 17...my 18-year-old friend did the paperwork for me, with the store rep fully aware of what we were doing. Different world.

Nice catch. Sometimes the GB gods smile down on us.

Exceptional Huntsman. I stumbled up on this 2nd Series yrs ago when nobody else bid. It had red specks on it that did look like blemishes. I like ugly shooters so I bid and won. Turned out the stuff on it was from whatever it had been wrapped in before the photo. Finish was much nicer than the photos showed. Pd $375.00 in ‘18, correct 2nd Series mag, nice red swirl grips and matching red grip adapter.

Guys, Old guy here, if ya hear me tell the same stories ya have to forgive me. I have traded guns all my life, like from 1964 till now, and I have let some jewels slip through my hands. One of them was a Colt Huntsman in really nice condition with a 4 inch barrel. I could shoot that pistol so well, extremely accurate. For the life of me I have no idea what I traded it off for, but I needed my head examined.

Sorry you traded that one. I had two Colt Woodsman’s and gave a 98 percent 3rd gen to a great nephew, as he is bloodline. It lives on with his dad and will stay in the family. The one I kept is a 1929 first gen once owned by a family member who was a Pearl Harbor survivor on the USS Maryland! I’ve since purchased a Standard Manufacturing SG-22 reproduction (incredible quality and engraved) to spare the original. I hope you found another Woodsman?

My uncle's Huntsman was one the first handguns I ever shot ... I was maybe 11 or 12. That and my dad's HR .22 revolver and another uncle's Colt New Frontier. I remember going to deer camp and getting to shoot all three and I out shot them all with their own guns. This started my life long love for shooting handguns.

It continues today and for as long as I can pull a trigger. I have found tho ... for us older guys, the trick is to shoot bigger targets and move them closer. It really improves your groups.
