Scope Rings for CZ 11mm dovetail

Hi guys,
I just got a CZ 457 and it has an 11mm dovetail rail on it. Any recommended scope rings I should use to mount it? I’m putting a scope with a 1in tube and 40mm objective on it. I’m not sure what my prince range is....I’ll pay more if it means I’m getting a quality set of rings but would prefer not to throw money away if it is not necessary.

Thanks!

Here is another option that works well. This is the DIP rail with Burris Sig. Zee #420521 (medium) rings. I had this scope mounted in the CZ rings that came with the rifle but wanted to try get it mounted lower. The medium Burris Sig. #420554 rimfire rings were just a hair low for this 44mm objective to work on this varmint model however they did work on my 455 American with a thinner barrel. I had a set of medium zee rings laying around so decided to take a chance and order the DIP rail. Turns out it works just fine and is slightly lower than my previous set up with the CZ rings.

I'm into JP adapters and Burris Signature Zee's. Have a set of Warnes in the package in the closet. Those were going to be scope scratchers and I wasn't having it. Feel solid, but told me they were going to leave ring marks, and I wanted no part of it. Packaged back up, into the shoebox of parts, and waited a week on the other stuff to arrive.

I went with the BKL rings for my old Winchester 75 because of the arched receiver top surface. I believe that some of the dovetail rings will not accommodate a curved receiver. I don't know what the receiver on the CZ is like, but just thought I'd throw in my 2 cents worth. BTW the BKL dovetail rings are working out very well for me on the 75 with my Vortex Crossfire II.

Recommendation ...

Warne 7.3 medium rings

BUT install the top half of the rings over the optic with two pin punches to make sure the tops of the rings do not scratch the optic tube (aka, the Allen wrench trick),

AND use a Warne pre-set inch-pound torque wrench to torque each screw to Warne factory specs.

In all my 30 + rifles I've never had any optic move using Warne rings. Well, come to think of it ... not true. Once in the mid-1990's while on horseback, I had my stupid saddle horse fall over and crush my CZ center fire rifle. It cracked the stock and the optic did move 1/2" in the rings but the rings never came off the receiver.

I renamed the horse "Gluestick" but continued the hunt - this time it was a handgun hunt and yep, I did get a deer with a 44 Mag! Stupid horse!

Talley CZ rings are the best fitting rings I have ever used on my rifles. They are machined specifically to fit the CZ (even the oddball 3/8") dovetails. No canted side clamps to deal with and hold like a vise.
Thats a good picture. Illustrates your point perfectly. I hate the look of those top screw rings, but I won't say they don't work well.
