Good Morning!
My brother was recently given a Vintage Rifle, a Savage Model 160 Revelation Autoloader, The Serial Number on the Barrel is DO 45221 it looks like . ANYWAY, I have been Searching and Searching and Searching and trying to find a Owners Manual on Line I can Print off for my brother. I am told this Rifle is the Same as a Savage Model 80 A?? I gave my brother a Used, Vintage Weaver Scope a Tip Off or Top Off Model that supposedly is from the same eras, also looking for a manual I can Print for it, My Brother is Not on the Internet, Yeah, a few of those folks still around. Thanks and feel free to send me a Link to any Manual I can print.
Regards
Ed from Tennessee

You may find something on eBay for the manual. Numrich has a schematic and parts if you look under Savage 187A which is essentially the same gun.

To clean the rifle, you have to remove the recoil plug at the end of the receiver by unscrewing it with the gun uncocked. You can then push back the breech block handle and remove the recoil spring washer, recoil spring and hammer block with the firing pin attached. Once the firing pin is out, the breech block handle can be removed so that you can remove the breech block. Those are the only parts that need regular cleaning and that will allow you to clean the barrel from the rear.
