Hey All,
Was at the store, about to purchase my first 22.. a Savage Mk-2 FV.. when I got a text from a friend saying he's selling a Savage Anschutz Mark 10A that he picked up an estate sale.
I decided to leave the Mk-2 on hold, and went to go check out the Savage Anschutz Mark 10A.
It's in pretty top notch condition, no nicks or scuffs on the wood, comes with the original sights and such. I'm a beginner to the world of firearms and don't know much about the Savage Anschutz Mark 10A, so was wondering if anybody here had some input.
My main goal with my first .22 is to use it as a budget trainer of sorts. I have a Remington 700p that I rarely take out due to the cost of 308. So I've decided to pick up a bolt action .22lr to practice with.
Should I go with the Savage Anschutz Mark 10A over the Savage Mk-2 FV? If so, what would be a good price asking price?
The Savage Mk-2 FV is at a local shop for $209.
Thank you in advance for anybody who takes the time to leave some advice!
