Does anyone know what mags if any can be used with this gun? Are there any other guns that it's based off of?

IF you are looking for more magazines go to ebay. If you are looking for different magazines I'm guessing that ain't going happen. Just about all rifle magazines are designed to fit that rifle only.
The Rossi RS22 can use the Mossberg Plinkster 702 magazines (10 and 25 rounds). I've seen people (www.gunblast.com) say that the magazines for the RS22 can be used with the Rossi TB22...but I just bought the RB22 mags instead. I bought all my Rossi (4 rifles) magazines from GunBroker and Bud's Gun Shop. I only buy OEM or compatible magazines.

I bought a RS22 just to see how similar it is to the Mossberg 702. Conclusion: Not only does it use the same magazine, but all other parts are interchangeable between the two.
I replaced the trigger group in the RS22 with a spare 702 trigger group which had had a trigger job; worked fine.
My RS22 is very accurate and I like the stock better. The RS22 also has a bigger bolt handle.
