Well here's what I got in the mail yesterday. Hope to start getting it together pretty soon. Building this mainly for coon hunting, and have a sweet rifle when I'm done! Haha

I don't know if you've already gotten started but at one time there was some type of pictorial on how to do the razor receiver (I believe) using a drill press on the Select Fire web site. I don't know if it's still there but there was some good pics here on Rimfire Central also. I don't know the URL's off hand but maybe somebody that remembers the threads can post the URL's.

Drill barrel hole Razor

Yep, read that on here too. Don't know for sure about the legal end myself. I think it was mentioned in one of the Razor Magnum threads early on, not for sure. Might do some searching on here.

Good luck on the build. Most folks don't have access to a milling machine but that's the best way to go on the barrel hole if available to you. Select Fire has really provided us an affordable way to have a magnum receiver.

I was unaware of that. Well that just sucks

If you know somebody with a mill that can show you how to set it up and operate and stand by to give instructions you can do it that way. You can't have somebody else do the work for you. I will say that the Razor magnum receiver has been done on a drill press -- I did mine that way -- all the holes including the barrel hole.

9. May I lawfully make a firearm for my own personal use, provided it is not being made for resale?
Firearms may be lawfully made by persons who do not hold a manufacturer's license under the GCA provided they are not for sale or distribution and the maker is not prohibited from receiving or possessing firearms. However, a person is prohibited from assembling a non-sporting semiautomatic rifle or shotgun from 10 or more imported parts, as set forth in regulations in 27 C.F.R. 478.39. In addition, the making of an NFA firearm requires a tax payment and advance approval by ATF. An application to make a machinegun will not be approved unless documentation is submitted showing that the firearm is being made for the official use of a Federal, State, or local government agency (18 U.S.C. § 922(o),(r); 26 U.S.C. § 5822; 27 C.F.R. §§ 478.39, 479.62, and 479.105).

I have the cross pin holes drilled and all the parts to assemble once I get the rest of the holes drilled. Been swamped with work and have been busy calling coyotes and now hunting snow geese. This project kinda got pushed to the back burner. I wanna get it done this spring before I go shoot prairie dogs, good time to test it out. Will post more pictures once I make some more progress and get it assembled.

This is a picture of the newer 22 magnum jig. Notice at the right end there is circular like part with a hole in it. That fits into the area where the barrel hole is to be drilled and requires a punch to make a good start point.

I can't find it now but Phil sold at one time a barrel hole jig with punch. It is at least twice as thick as the barrel hole jig section on the red magnum jig and is what I used to do the barrel hole.
