So our standard poodle Bo turned 2 last Saturday. What a mostly wonderful addition he has been in our lives!

So friendly (sometimes too friendly) and so smart (sometimes too smart), but mostly just a joy and he sure has livened things up around our house!

Amazing how fast they grow!

One thing we have learned is that the "poo" in poodle is very accurate because I've seen smaller horse scat than what this old boy puts out LOL

We dog sit our son's 3-year-old Wiemaraner six months out of the year. A wonderful dog, but just like our wonderful grandchildren, exhausting. Couldn't wait for her to go back home to Missouri with my son a week ago, and now I miss her already. A 50 pound dog; 4 cups of dog food, plus 4 or so cups of water per day, somehow seems to equal 23 pounds of dog poop per day. I don't get that math . . . .

"Standard" size, correct?

The way time fly's, I figured he was about 5 now.

I remember some other earlier pics also!

Our rescue. We got her as a pup last July. She now weighs 75#. As she is maturing she’s just a pleasure to have around the house. My wife and I are retired and this was a life saver for my wife. I love retirement, my wife not so much. This gives her something to keep her occupied all day. My wife named her Patches.
When we rescued her at 3 months she weighed 23 pounds.

The vet guessed her to be about 3.5 months old judging by her teeth so we called her an April fools baby. They guess her to be part Aussie Shepard, part blue healer and whatever else is in the mix.

We drove about 90 miles each way to go get her. Brought her home late Thursday night, gave her a flea and tick bath as she had lots on her, fed her and kenneled her. The very first night she slept the whole night. She was very easy to house break and has just been a fantastic dog.

Here she is a 75 pounds. I think she’s about quit growing since she’s almost 1.5 years old.

Here she is with her favorite frisbee we wrestle with daily

That's a picture of my last good girl, Laila. Taken from an old photograph I still have in my office.

She was an extremely smart, vigilant and fearless dog, shoulder height about 20", weighing 55 lbs. Very kind to kids and all the people she knew in the neighborhood, but quite spicy at night, especially when someone dared to ring the doorbell.

She passed away in 2009 at the age of 13 years.

We lost Ollie at age 14 a bit over a year ago, our son Rob said they'd probably wait a while but within a month Finn came into our lives, he's a bundle of energy and goes to work with Rob almost every day. He and the owners dog and cat keep the company going...lol. Rob's VP of DeFeet socks, tough place to work (beer bar and coffee bar for the few walk in customers and staff)

Our girls the two Golden retrievers. If you can’t tell they are quite fond of each other, and us. They are a year apart in age and completely different lines. The crazy dog with her head out the window was my old dog Hailey, she loved riding in the truck and HAD to have that window down no matter what temp it was outside. Winter was interesting, and cold.
