Today, at my visit to Harbor Freight, I was trapped for almost a hour and a half, due to the POTUS and his entourage passed by (29 cars and other vehicles), as we were not allow to leave the parking lot. I was left to wander the aisles, looking at various Items. The store manager was bored out his skull, no new customers, so he and I had a good chat. I found they are now selling a torque screwdriver, under the Quinn brand #58950. The range is 10 to 50 inch pounds.

As I checked out, I bought a 3 pack of scissors, a set of Torx T-Handle wrenches, and an extended die grinder, with a 4” extended barrel and a cheap LED flashlight, he slipped the torque wrench in the bag, saying try it out let me know what you think. If you like it, we will work out a price later, if not, just return it.

we shall see how it works

Action screw torque may not be as big a factor for Jack's style of shooting. But it couldn't hurt to have all the rifles of the same make/model have consistent torque settings. At least then torque could be mostly ruled out when trying to figure out why one RPR/Tikka/Savage/CZ shoots so much better than the next one.
