I have owned Lilja they are good Proof are suppose to be really good. I almost purchased one but holdIng off. Not 100 percent the cost difference is justified. Hopefully a user will chime in. Still considering another maker like bartlien just to try something different.

I was checking with a company that was making Barrlien barrels, but their machine is down. I can find proof barrels but can not find lilja barrels for sale now.

 

May try Craddock Precision he does Bartlien blanks. There is a lead time.

 

I sent them a msg, their machine is down that makes their barrels.

I purchased a 16.5" Proof barrel for a new VPT. I have not had a chance to build up the rifle yet, but the plan is to document all of the parts and upgrades here and possibly on Youtube.

 

I will acknowledge that I am necro-posting. That said, I'd rather keep this discussion in the same place for people researching later.

Does anyone have experience with these barrels for the 455/457?

 

I have one, the 16 inch one. Planning to install it on my new at one. It’s seems like very good quality.
