I'm jealous. That stuff runs anywhere between $32 and $50CAD.

 

That's not bad; I recall picking up a 10ct case for ~$14.30 per box at Walmart, but that was over 10 years ago & the dollar is worth a lot less now. I think that shelf price you cite is less now, counting for inflation.

Edit: I didn't retain purhase records for that particular case, but I do have a record of buying 7 boxes from WM @ $14.84 ea on 9/14/17.

 

It used to be $17.98 a box and about a year ago they bumped it up to $22.98. I guess the figured they got too greedy, and it slowed their sales at that level. I shoot a lot of it!

 

Yep $19.95 here and we have a tax free ammo days coming soon here in Florida, goin to need more ammo cans to store it all.

 

It's decent ammo and I have quite a bit stored away. The ability to just grab a few boxes at Walmart at reasonable prices has always been a factor for me in buying it. It kinda replaced the 510 load for me but it's not as good honestly. Haven't bought any since the Great Crisis and probably have enough for my lifetime anyway at this point.

 

At the beginning of the COVID fiasco, I purchased a case from Target Sports USA for $139.99 shipped to my door. I still have most of it.

 

Is FAM 'the same" and "Black Box"? Fed Black Box is LHP 36g, 1260fps. Yes, FAM is not HP.
