I've got an older model H&R Mod 922 revolver that I would like to find pistol grips for. I'd like to replace the plastic covers for a rosewood or other type of wood grip.

That is probably right. I have a 999 Sportsman with wood grips, but most of the other H&Rs that I have seen have plastic/Bakelite/Faux Ivory ones.

The only aftermarket, non-factory-style grips that I have ever seen for any H&R pistol were those made by Pachmayr. Pachmayr used to sell the "HRC"-coded rubber grip, that was a hand-filling chunk of rubber, but still of compact proportions. Compared to the size of an H&R 732/ 929, etc. revolver, those grips look quite massive, though.
