I've read that the Williams FP-CZ with target knobs has to be mounted ahead of the ejection port because the new bolt design interferes with the adjustment knob. Can the FP-CZ without adjustment knobs be mounted in the usual position (at the rear of the receiver) and not have this problem?
Apparently, after Googling this to death, the only alternative for a peep sight on the 457 is the Skinner. From Skinner's photos it looks like it shouldn't interfere with the bolt handle when mounted at the rear of the receiver, but I'd like confirmation of that from someone who has actually installed the Skinner on a 457.
Can the Skinner be properly sighted in on a .22lr 457 Trainer with the stock front blade?
