I'm looking for a one piece rest and wondered about your experiences and recommendations. I don't mind paying more for a great product but I'm not competing at high levels. I'm used to shooting with high quality bipods (like Atlas) for long distance big bore but I want to spend more time with my benchrest rimfires. The joystick style sounds like what I want...being able to smoothly track across small distances for benchrest rimfire.
One that I'm considering is the PQP. I never see it as being available on Killoughs but I haven't inquired either. I'm ok with that price range. On the high end, I hear a lot of good things about Farley as well. I'm open to suggestions of others as well.
What is achieved by getting into the Farley price range ($1300-1500) vs the PQP range ($1000)? I haven't seen any used high end rests for sale. It seems at this quality level, that guys keep everything and have small collections of high end gear.
