I was browsing galleryofguns' selection of .22LRs and I came across 13 listings for new Marlin .22 models, all under the model name "XT-22" including both magazine and tube-fed bolt actions. They can be seen at the bottom of the page here: http://www.galleryofguns.com/genie/Default.aspx?pg=list&index=3&mfg=All&mdl=All&cat=All&type=All&cal=22LR&fin=All&sit=All&pid=&inv=
and also on the next page.
I took a gander at the Marlin webpage and I couldn't find anything and google turned up primarily websites listing them for sale (but out of stock, naturally).
I'm guessing we'll have an announcement from Marlin soon, perhaps at SHOT show January 2011.
From the stats listed on galleryofguns, they don't look too different from Marlin's current offerings except they feature something called the "ProFire Adjustable Trigger," which I've never heard of. Perhaps this is Marlin's response to the Savage accu-trigger?
Unfortunately, the stocks listed are all synthetic or hardwood, no walnut offerings
Does anyone have the low-down on these upcoming models?
