Just purchased. Set of extended Target grips with dragon scales in Red-Wood. These fill out the hand, and are extended enough for your pinky to have room on the grip. It gives a true target revolver feel that was missing from the stock configuration. Much better than the slim/petite hogue grips that are standard on the revolver from the factory.
Hudson River Valley Customs Corp.
They have a great Website.

Just purchased. ... Hudson River Valley Customs Corp. ...
Halfinch, Thanks for the insight and inspiration. Have just ordered the model 25994 model at hrvcustoms.com/colt/p/25994 in dark walnut with dragon scale (one part) on the bottom sides and no medallions and no extra engraving on the top sides and no engraving on the backstrap. They indicated an alignment pin and new screw would be included and did not need to be ordered. Pricing came in at $110 and it may take a couple of weeks for delivery. Your example inspired me to give this a try. Have been looking for a normal wood grip for some time but have been scared off by the prices questions about whether some brands were really a good fit. Hoping to post pics here when they arrive. rak2rak

Hopefully Colt revolvers will be sold in numbers that grip manufacturers will start offering multiple designs and styles of grips for them. Those of us that have Smith & Wesson double action revolvers are spoiled in this regard, there are countless options. I have a Smith & Wesson Victory .22 caliber semi-auto and they just haven't been sold in the numbers to generate a lot of aftermarket grip choices, there are some, but not many.

My Hudson River Valley Customs grips have arrived. They are the hrvcustoms.com/colt/p/25994 in dark walnut with dragon scale (one part) on the bottom sides and no medallions and no extra engraving on the top sides and no engraving on the backstrap.
The dark walnut came in a little darker than I expected but that is fine for me as I was afraid they might be to light for my tastes. Fit and finish and install seem to be perfect! As a smaller person at 5'7" my hands are a little small (part of the reason for my purchasing the Colt King Cobra 22) but they give me a solid grip, has room for my pinkie finger. And, there is plenty of open space to plant against the palm/butt of my supporting hand. Really Solid!! It just feels right.
Will try to post a picture below and apologize for my poor photo skills.
