So here is what I did to my stock. I am sure a lotta folks will say it's not needed but I doubt it'll hurt, and I like to tinker.
Not the absolute cleanest work I've done but you can't tell from the outside at least.
- Rear receiver Permatex gasket maker bedding
- Trigger assembly JB Weld bedding (the Titan set screw was not doing it for me)
- Mag-well JB Weld bedding
- Barrel pad JB Weld "bedding"
With all this, the gun locks together absolutely solidly with no shake, rattle or rock. Obviously the action screw is still required to hold it together.
