Got this beautiful Marlin Model 80C this weekend for only 2 bills. It's a 1970 100 yr anniversary model with a beautiful walnut stock (manufactured in 69). The owner said he put less than 100 rounds through it and it's been in storage for the best part of 44 years. I drove 90 miles to go get it but it was well worth the trip.

Since I started this thread with a pic of my 25N DU I thought I would update it with the same rifle. Here is a recent pic of it while I spent some quality time with it in the woods.

After two days of squirrel hunting with the 25N I decided it was just to nice of a rifle to let get banged up in the woods. So Saturday I bought a XT-22 to use in the woods instead. I still have to scope it before I hit the woods but it should do the trick.

My newest. A Marlin 81TSDU bought last week

Near 100% mint. Made in 1999. A Marlin 81TSDU. I think made for just one year.

Ducks Unlimited Edition

Came with the fiber optic front sight. Also came with the original front sight

Absolutely stunning gun. Sometimes I wished I had the tube feed on mine, rather than the magazine.

I thought it odd though, that Duck's Unlimited would endorse a .22 when, at least here in florida, it is illegal to hunt ducks with a .22?

Anyway, if you're that anal, you shouldn't be around guns anyway :bthumb:
