Marlin 70PSS scope ring recommendations

I finally have some time to work on my Marlin 70PSS and am looking to mount a Weaver scope. I have a set of delrin sizing rings to fit the Weaver scope to 1-inch diameter scope rings. However, I'm looking for some assistance to what scope rings to buy.

You forum members have suggestions for quality 1-inch dovetail scope rings?

I have found with my automatic 22's that a ring clamped to a 3/8" dove tail will vibrate loose and/or just move . I recommend in integral ring mount with some loc-tite. I bought a UTG model RGPM2PA-25M4 for my 70PSS and I also have one on my Model 795. This is sold by UTG Leapers for about $15 is has about 3" of clamping surface. BKL also makes some very nice units.

scope mount

The Leaper's mount works with the Marlin receiver dovetail which is usually not a precisely machined feature. I have one on a mod. 60 with a 30mm scope. I did not Loctite anything and have not had to re-adjust zero although I've had it for four years and about 3500 rounds.

The UTG and BKL hardware look very solid! Those mounts that are 3 inches or 4 inches in length look like good options. I noticed that there is a lacquer on the dovetail grooves on the receiver of the 70PSS. I guess the lacquer is to improve the gripping of the scope mounts once they're tightened.
