I just want to show it off. It's a Mannlicher style laminated stock. It is offered on a distributor model Ruger makes for The Shooting Store. Lover the black/grey coloring.

You'll probably have to keep wishing. Virtually nobody is selling a new 10/22 with Mannlicher stock of any color, Ruger seems to show no interest in producing these long-backordered models, rifle or stock alone, and the stock makers don't have new stocks. I finally put one on order with Richards Microfit Stocks, and they said it would be 4 - 5 months. And I have one of the Ruger stocks on back order with a distributor, also.

I got the standard steel Ruger muzzle end cap from Midway in five days. It sits and waits for the rest of the stock.

I know somebody here will be compelled to try to dispute all this. I suppose if you want to pay double or triple price, you can find a rifle or stock someplace. But in the real world, no.

I have seven 10/22 variants and one new barreled action, waiting for the stock. I just really like the full length style.

It seems that the much-touted American "supply and demand" principle does not actually work, in this case.

Miracle of miracles. I mentioned to a friend that I was hassling unsuccessfully. trying to find to find a Mannlicher 10/22 stock. After awhile he said he thought he had one someplace that he never finished before selling his 10/22....maybe 30 - 40 years ago. Finally, he thought it might be in the attic someplace. Well, into the attic two old guys crawled, and he found it. Looks like maybe a Fajen Monte Carlo, solid walnut. $25 and it was mine. It got tied onto the back of a motorcycle, is now fully inletted to one of my (defunct) Mesa Manufacturing receivers and a Ruger barrel, with the Ruger metal nose piece fitted, and is now ready for all the wood smoothing and blending. They sold them pretty rough in those days, but the wood is nice.

There are several listed on Gunbroker at reasonable prices. Everybody who is a hobbyist thinks, "This thing is rare, it's special"....No, it's really not. Ruger literally made Tens of Thousands of them. That's not the definition of "rare". An original .45 Luger is rare.

I bought original Walnut Manlicher 10/22 when 1st out back in 60s. My SIL has it now. Couple months ago I got a nice one on a trade. I put scope on it and can’t complain about accuracy at 40yds it was chewing out a 1” hole with a 25rd mag. If I was to keep it I would put in Volquartsen hammer kit. My serious 22 rifle for hunting was an original Sporter / K3 scope . Until the 77/22 came out. The only 22s I had new enough to be scope ready. I never had hart to D&T original for scopes and didn’t have interest in stuff new enough to be grooved for tip offs.

I have a gun exactly like this one. My late husband wanted the 10-22, so we bought it. Long story, not to tell here, about having to have it replaced because the barrel was glued to the stock. Anyway, I was hoping to find the value for this barely used piece. Any ideas where to look? I need to rid myself of some of the armory here.

Interesting. So only guns that can't be purchased qualify to you as special or rare? When I go to Gunbroker and sort the auctions by price from "high to low", I sure see many guns available to the market that would meet my definitions of "special" and "rare". You must have a lot more money than me.

I've got a dark gray laminate Mannlicher stock 10-22 with stainless action & barrel, open sights in the cave right now, daughter's boyfriend asked me to try and fix the misfeed problem he was having with it. Hopefully it just needed a good cleaning and lube which I did yesterday. I offered him $50 for it when he gave it to me to bring home. LOL Seems to handle well, but can't tell how accurate the skinny barrel is as I suck with open sights and bad eye sight. LOL

No I get it, you're the self-appointed gatekeeper for what is "special" and/or "rare". 👍 We should all consult a Lawyerman before using such terms.
Why are you even commenting on this thread? Surely guns so common and unspecial would hold no interest for you. Maybe go find a thread about those two Luger 45's, talk about them some more. While you're at it, make sure to be real vocal about how there were 3 million Lugers made. Let the Luger owners know that if they dont have one of the two 45's then they have nothing that's in any way special or rare.
