Sorry no experience with that barrel. What would your expectations be for the barrel? Lighter, more accurate, threaded for a suppressor, cool factor? The standard Buck Mark barrels are very accurate, factory barrels have held many silhouette records for many years and all factory barrels are made from the same rifled blanks.

For the cool factor and threaded, maybe, but overpriced.

I was just curious about how they perform. I have no reason to replace the barrels on my pistols. I have not kept up with any of the new technology and trends since the mid 90's . I see all the glitz on the new Buckmarks and have to scratch my head and wonder what the benefit of it all is. Marketing more than anything else I suppose.
What I gathered about this barrel is that it is supposed to stay cooler longer plus be lighter weight. Being threaded is also the trend as well.

 

Seen them online, but haven't seen any reviews yet.

I’ve been curious about this barrel for a while. About a year ago I inquired about it to Magnum Research and was informed they were getting ready to produce another batch of them. Then I didn’t hear anything for a year. In January I saw that stores were stocking them again, so I pulled the trigger and got one. I paid $197 for mine. I haven’t shot it yet because it doesn’t have a front sight and I didn’t have an optic…yet. I have a Browe reflex sight being delivered tomorrow. I’m anxious to try it out.

I have one an the accuracy is excellent. Extremely happy with it.

 

It doesn't work properly and the company didn't stand behind the product. The bullets would jam when loading.
I sent mine back to them having the same jamming problems as other shooters. They said it was fine and charged me to return it. Next thing you know they pulled all their stock and take a year off to let ALL the negative reviews go away. I can't support a company that doesn't stand behind their products!!
