I just used one on the Varmint barreled action that I have with the KRG Bravo stock, but I've only torqued the action screws to 25 in/lbs. It just snaps in, not sure the action torque would affect it anyway.

 

Agree with @MUP, it does not get installed with the action screws. I have one and it works great! Definitely just funnels the mag right in perfectly.

 

Thanks for the replies gentlemen. However there is some confusion; Anarchy outdoors says this installs using the front action screw? The picture on their web sight shows a hole about where the front action screw is and a longer bolt.

Mine has a cutout, a half circle hole where the front action screw went thru, but it didn't engage the mag well insert tho best I can recall. It's been a few weeks since I installed it and haven't had it back out since yet. I can't access it for being out of pocket at the moment tho to see. It may have engaged that half circle cutout, I just can't remember right now 😒 Sorry for the worthless reply. 🙄. I know it snapped in hard, and I do remember the half circle cutout where the front action screw goes, so I guess it does engage that half circle lip.

 

I remember there was also a spacer/washer that had to be used, so maybe that's what fit into the half circle cutout? Anyway, I'm going to stop before I muddy the water anymore. 😬

It does appear to use the action screw to mount it. I'm pretty sure it'll hold up to the normal 20-30 in-lbs you should be using to torque it down.

 

Thanks for posting the pictures Mark, I'm not smart enough to do that. The KRG Bravo chassis asks for 45 in-lbs of torque on the action screws, that seems pretty tight for plastic or polymer. If it deforms at all, what does that do to the torque value? Probably not a problem, just curious.

 

The hole notwithstanding, I did torque the action screws to 25in/lbs initially, and right off the bat, with a stray box of Lapua ammo I had, shot a 225 USBR score. This was just dropping a Varmint barreled action into the KRG stock and first testing session. I think it has potential.

 

I use one of these:
Silentthunderordnance
It's a "drop in" solution which is not attached with the screw.
So there is no interference regarding the torque.

 

This is the one I have then. So many CZs, it's hard to remember what each one has now. 😩
