Lyman R12 Tang Sight Aperture size

Hi all, it's been quite a while.

I recently obtained a Remington Model 12 NRA target .22 with the Lyman R12 tang peep sight.

It had a ~1" aperture disk that apparently unthreaded itself out of the stem while slung over my shoulder so now all I have is the big opening in the Stem.

Can anyone tell me what replacement apertures will fit?

I have several from a Lyman FP but the threads do not seem the same and I do not want to force it and cross-thread.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
