Here's my two. The top one is an old flatgate. The bottom one is a .32 mag. Hope I'm not breaking the rules by posting pics of the .32 on rimfire central!!!LOL

 

No it is a single six frame. and here are mine both in .32
the top is standard the bottom is moded by myself, it wears a fitted Qualite grip frame and a fitted S&W J frame AS sight on a vaquero frame.

 

The "Stars" are shipped with single cylinders and are considered scarce. Big Larry

That is a NICE collection there! I really like that 9 1/2" stainless! :t I really wish Ruger would start producing them again. Even if it is for a limited run. It would make a great companion gun to my 5 1/2" stainless!

I had the rare 9 1/2" convertable stainless a while back, but sold it at the Reno show. This 9 1/2" stainless "Star", is NIB and I doubt I will ever shoot it, but the rarer blued gun is a shooter and boy, is it ever accurate. You would think someone at Davidsons would see the light for a new stainless single six with a 9 1/2" bbl. as they did with the 4 5/8"er. I would buy one to shoot. Big Larry:t :t

it is a convertable and both cyls. are fluted.

 

They all were fluted and numbered. You have a very rare gun. I hope you have the box. I sold mine for $1,500 a year ago, with the box and papers. Big Larry

 

the first pic was just after reassembly. the second was just before it went into the blueing tank. I kick myself every time because I never think to take a before pic. this one was really beat.

 

The grips in the top photo look to be either after market , or someone changed out the grip screw, that big brass escutcheon isn't original at least it doesn't look like my grips which are factory walnut. Any one else out there have the big brass escutcheons?
Just so you know, well I've taken and blown the photo up, and I see someone changed the escutcheon and substituted it a 45 brass case head.
Pretty cool idea, but on a 22?

Here's my latest... just picked it up at my FFL's this afternoon.

 

Here's a stainless single six and blued 10" MKII I picked up the other day. I added the new shoes to the single six. Sorry for the lousy pic. Crappy camera, and no picture taking skills!

Just picked up a 6.5"...

Here's my 5.5" and 6.5" today at the range.

 

Here is a pic of my Single Six. I have the 22 mag cylinder, box, and wood grips as well. I've got to say that I sure to love this pistol.

Was the barrel shortened on this gun? I love the looks of the gun when the barrel stops even with the casing ejector assy.

 

Bisley Single Six

Here's one you don't see very often. I bought this at the Sports Authority back in '89. Salesman told me it was a special edition Ruger made for their store chain??? No mag cylinder came with it, but I have a stainless steel one that looks and works great.

 

This is my 1974 I picked it up in 1994 for $225 with the holster.
