I have a project in the works that will be similar. Waiting on two items to finish, chassis and deciding what trigger option to use. I’m hoping mine is fairly accurate/ consistent within reason.

Will be using A Kidd 6in threaded barrel and a Odin chassis. Kidd does a great job on machining the barrel and comp to look seamless.

Going somewhat for the look below without the custom color they used.

 

I had to look twice. Couldn’t see where they met.

Put a Kidd Barrel on the Charger. 2-7 Burris scope. Dang this thing can shoot.

I prefer rifle scopes and a trigger under 1# on mine.

 

Always wanted a charger just never pulled the trigger on buying one

I'd like to request some input on your 6" vs 10" barrel selections. I'm trying to decide between the two Kidd barrels but haven't decided yet. Not sure what pros and cons are for each length but I plan to run suppressed with a 5" long suppressor.

Even the 6" is deceptively heavy.

Sorry about the late reply. It's a Cabela's scope, which I guess is now Bass Pro Shops. It works fine for me. The ranges I go to are almost all in-door, and limited to 25 yards.

 

Very nice Chargers esp' when SBRed or arm braced.

I have a Charger Takedown with an 8" TacSol barrel and it's a tackdriver. I always wanted to know what a KIDD barrel on a Charger would do. I don't want on due to the weight, but still curious.

It’s apparently a Cabella’s Six Shooter 4x32 extended eye relief scope. No longer available from BPS. Without an adjustable objective I wonder how much parallax affects group size at 25 yards and under.

 

Yes, that's the one. I didn't realize it had been discontinued. I'm still tweaking the build, having recently added a BX trigger, and I haven't brought it to the range since then. It grouped OK with the stock trigger, though I haven't been keeping track. I'll post some targets once I get back to the range with it.

 

Want the 6" because mine will be suppressed so I don't want it too long. Want a tack driver like my Tikka t1k but small package.
