Thompson Center arms. Is the site.

 

TC Arms is out of business. The owners of TC, Smith&Wesson, closed it up about two years ago and it’s being divested. No parts or service are available.

 

some dealers might have inventory.
NO longer manufactured it's a shame TC was one of the better rifles made.
Ruger needs to take it up or modify the 10/22 to TC specs.

 

That seems iffy. Their website shows no such gun, and, afaik, Guns.com has all the remaining T/C inventory, none of which are in 22lr.

I really like TCR/22. Are the similar in build quality to the Bergara BXR?

 

I saw that listing too. Figured it was a scam. Any reliable source for the Thompson mags? They are the only mags with LRBHO, unlike if you use a Ruger 10/22 mag. Optics Planet shows them in stock, I'm not sure if I consider that a reliable source.

 

I'm going to pass, when they don't take credit cards it's generally a scam, our detective bureau gets inundated with this nonsense, decided on a Bergara ,THX

 

Now that the Brand has been bought and being "re-launched" it will be intersting to see if they will support this model.

 

I read that the guys that bought TC from S&W (Brian, the guy that sold it to S&W) will be up and going 2025. What models and changes have just been hope's & speculation so far.

I have one I bought several years ago, she was always a good shooter. I bought a Feddersen 17" barrel, and installed it on the TCR22 and that is one of my most favorite 22's, perfect squirrel rifle.

 

They are still a few available, better hurry.

I too would like to see the TC22 reintroduced and my understanding is that 22mag was an option.

It is also kind of a shame the Ruger cannot do an upscale up strength up quality 10-22 instead of all the idiotic cosmetic variations. Not instead of but in addition. But who am I to question the wisdom of ( I assume) the worlds most successful gun maker.

I have purchased firearms from them before, several times without issues. Last purchase was 4 months ago, and they shipped quickly to my FFL.

 

@fourbore sounds like you're looking for the Ruger Competition model.
