I have a vintage single shot falling block rifle.
I'd like to use with optics.
Originally fitted with front dovetail globe sight. And rear flip up tang sight.
I'd like to install a vintage brass long range optic.
Without milling a rear dovetail or drill n tapping the barrel for base mounts.
Any experience using a epoxy to secure the scope blocks onto a barrel?
Something that potentially in future could be heated and removed without any gluing loss but secure enough to withstand the pressures of adjustment and handling of thr rifle?
Thanks for any thoughts or opinions
