Yep i haven't shot the CM-2 for a time and took her to the range yesterday.
Was going to try out some new to me Norma Tac 22 and if things went well going to shoot her
in one of the fun match's here on RFC and is 25 yards.
I have been shooting my CZ 452 Varmint as my main target rifle as of late like for the last 4 years.
The CM-2 shot pretty darn good.
Also shot one target at 50 yards of the Norma Tac 22 and one target with RWS Rifle Match for a comparison.
Had a 4-5 O clock wind at my back at 3-8 mph so according to my wind chart the flyers
were probably from the wind, I didn't move my wind flags from the 25 yard match.
@ my range when I have a wind at my back it gives me all kinds of problem's.
Over all I am pretty happy this rifle has always shot German .22 ammo very well.
Oh and when I shot these targets @ 50 yards I was not group shooting was shooting to
take out the center, meaning if i felt a little Kentucky windage would help would do it.
Each of the 50 yard target I shot some sighter shots and what not then shot just one target
for the RWS Rifle Match and the same for the Tac 22.
What a bargain for 400 bucks the only thing I have done to the rifle was lighten the trigger. Was a fun morning.

Greetings, I just bought a CM-2 in perfect condition at a very favorable price. I took the bolt out for a cleaning and had great difficulty putting it back in. I finally had to bring it to my smithy to do. He told me not to take it out again. Is there a technique for putting the bolt back? Also, what kind of rings did you us for the scope? thx

I too have a cm2 that was modified when I bought it years ago. And like most, it is just crazy accurate. I use it in fclass .22lr at 50 and 100yds. Crazy accurate for what I paid for it. It has one of the side rail scope mounts that were made several years ago.

Nice rifles and very under appreciated. I have to admit going against the conversation here. I retired mine last fall when I was gifted an Anschutz to shoot during our winter league. The Anni has a better stock for fit to my shoulder. It is not any more accurate to shoot, just more accurate to hold.

If you are referring to my post the answer is superbly. I was filling a three inch circle at 100 YDS using Norma TAC 22 ammo. CCI SV and Aguila came close but had a few flyers. I have a Vortex 4.5 to 16 scope mounted and was shooting at the 14 mark. This is the Kadet model with the 20 inch barrel. Love this rifle!
