I had 2 1947 Savage 94s, 300 n 303. SWR sold without regret.

Funny thing is both my house and fishing cabin are my age.

 

have some older and some newer, but none made in 1946.

 

1945 edition of a Remington 513T, that shoots sub MOA w/ irons at 100Y… consistently.

 

It's getting harder to find guns that old.

Really, I have some on both sides of my birthdate, I just haven't found one from '45.

I have a Brno Mod.1 made in 1950. Local distributor had some 3or 4 yrs ago and I bought one that turned out to be a '52 . At $200 I bought a second one that turned out to the '50 and all that was missing was the front sight hood it even has pretty neat wood.
This September we'll both be 62.

My Suhl 150-1 has a 4/89 stamp on the barrel, which means it was born the same month I was. Needless to say that was a surprise!

Yes, but only by chance - 1970 was a good year for quality rifles IMO:

• Winchester 88 carbine .308
• Remington 660 .350 Mag
• Ruger M77 MkI .350 Mag (funny how that worked out)

Yep I do...

1964 Remington 870 Wingmaster 2 3/4 inch 12GA (top).....still use it on dove hunts and informal clay shooting. Barrel is choked modified.....it's a tight modified thats for sure!

Bottom is a 1999 Remington 870 Express SuperMagnum 3 1/2 inch 12GA....
