Forgot to mention that it was very humid when I took it outside to take the pics. The bluing is very nice but there is condensation on the metal on the outside pics.

That’s a cool rifle to have, especially with the memories.

 

I recounted on my fingers and believe it spent 36 years wrapped in a blanket under the bed, and then 20 years last month in the back of the gun safe. I don't see an option to edit/correct posts, is that correct?
