Any ideas where I can find a replacement CZ 457 magazine well as I just noticed mine is cracked.
(CZ 457 Varmint Precision Chassis.)

I called CZ and they are out of stock but entered a backorder as warrantee replacement. (No idea how long it will take.)

From what I could find out the 455 and 457 are the same so did my searches for both.

Looked at the DIP replacement but they are also out of stock.

Normal Google searches didn't provide any help.

With a couple ARA matches coming up soon, I may try some epoxy to get by for now but would hate for it to fail in the middle of a match.

Thanks
Robert

Here's an idea that is sure to backfire. Buy your wife a new CZ. It will be hers. You set it up for her (your) success. Let her use it when she will and you be the caretaker for the other 99.9% of the time. So you're buying her a gift.

Not sure how to explain taking the magwell out of her new rifle though...

LewisM,
I sent them an email, yesterday, but no response yet.
I have since found out that it wouldn't be approved for Factory ARA Class, as it is not OEM, so I guess I am happy to find another CZ original plastic one.
(I will have a spare when CZ gets them in stock and sends me the warrantee replacement.)

It looks like Pete"s Pillers does sell aluminum magwells for the 455/457. They show out of stock unfortunately.

Looks like they make them for the 452/453. Shows 1 in stock.

Hi Rob - I replaced the magwell on one of my 455's with a DIP aluminum one a couple of years ago. I still have the original CZ plastic one. I'll bring it to the range on Wednesday. Sorry I'm late in seeing this post. Mark Myrdahl
