Steve. That rifle came within 1 X of tying the IR50/50 indoor record. Spent a year trying to get a Trident to shoot as good as the F27A. It never did. Traded Trident, kept the Fortner.F 27A single shot in the classic 1-piece Ans BR-50 stock and Ezell tuner. This was a fun rifle to shoot.

The rifles I'm posting are from the Custom Shop days at Anschutz. It was great fun building and working with our customers, and it's fantastic to see them posted with their new owners. Yes, they were expensive, but I felt that our customer base was pleased and many were repeat customers. Just a fun thread looking back down memory lane.Ok boys your showing off the top of the line equipment.
Lets talk components and complete build price.
Are these custom built rifles, or assembled components? There is a huge price difference.
How does one go about a benchrest rimfire build?
I had a 6br built by kelbly's and it was not cheap by any means.
I also have rifles ive assembled, starting with a barreled action all trued up and ready to go.
Order parts and let them stack, send them out for custom work then assembl and pillar bed rifle stock.
Please fill me in with what you guys are doing.
