So before buying this rifle I read many reviews on this site and all across the internet. A lot of negative reviews and mixed reviews. Most positive I read were endorsements and Christensen khronies. Decided to pull the trigger anyways and here’s a non paid honest review:

pros:

Hands down…. Awesome rifle.
1. Quality manufacturing, rifle was flawless out of the box(many bashed CA for horrible qc) I was super satisfied
2. Smooth bolt functioning not gritty or sticky at all. Can cycle rounds extremely fast no lock up or jams ejects every round flawlessly
3. Shot half inch spread at 100 yards first 3 rounds out of the box after bore sighting and laser sight of vortex viper hd 3x15x44. As I did the recommended barrel breakin procedure and cleaning to fifty rounds with cool downs grouping tightened up to sub moa. Could put 6 rounds onto a dime at 100y if I did my job. CCI 30g vnt 22 wmr 2200 fps
4. Ergonomics are amazing on the rifle being a long armed tall guy all the adjustables on this rifle make it a very comfortable gun.
5. Best rimfire I’ve owned or shot. 9/10 ground squirrels this a.m. many head shots out 100+
6. Trigger is on point light pull and loving it.

cons:
1. She’s a little ammo picky, larger grouping with the 30g hornady vxt. Federal 45g drops hard but tight grouping. I expected the hornady to out perform the cci, but she loves the cci.
2. Little heavy once’s fully equipped of course I’m used to bare naked ladies with iron sights or poly stocks and cheaper rifles.
3. So pretty I don’t want to scratch it using rocks as a bench rest lol
4. Yes it’s expensive, but worth every penny. You’d spend that money decking out a ruger or cz to that chassis and features.

maybe Christensen read all the ****ty reviews out there and stepped up a little bit. Loving my mpr and no issues. Be careful listening to all the negative nancies and perfectionists crying over one machining mark or a jam cause you don’t cycle a bolt like you should or a bad shooting rifle cause you suck at shooting or didn’t breakin in your barrel properly and are not cleaning your bores properly and often.
If you’re on the fence on this rifle pull trigger it’s worth the price tag. Precision and quality.
cheers.

I received my Christensen Arms MPR in 22LR for Christmas. Mounted a Vortex Venom 5X25 56mm scope. Shot my first match last month and my comments pretty much mirror yours. I wanted at least one Chassis rifle in the collection and like you rolled the dice and took the chance on the MPR. Since I use the MPR for benchrest competition only I have added a bipod and an adjustable bag rider. I do hope someone figures out how to adjust the trigger a bit down. Mine scales at 4lbs and I would like it to be around 3lbs or a bit less. Shoot safe and shoot often.

I thought I read somewhere you can lighten it by adjusting the Alan screw in the trigger guard in front of the trigger looking up from the bottom side. Don’t know if it’s true or not haven’t tried but I like the feeling of mine so I haven’t messed with it

My centerfire MPR came with a Timney IIRC, and is adjustable. I just read the MPR rimfire manual and the legal department had a field day with that one:

"The trigger is factory preset with a pull weight of
~3.5 to 4 pounds. After-market triggers should be
installed by an experienced gunsmith. If alterations
of the trigger are needed, contact Christensen Arms.
NOTE: Trigger system has tamper evident material
on set screws and adjustments"
