We put one together out of a $400 Tactical Innovations kit and 2 $189 SS 10/22s 20 years ago or so. Fun little conversation piece but they tend to jam (FTE) on the barrel with the ejection port pointed up unless using Mini-Mags which is pretty pricey for an unapologetic ammo gobbler.

Anything under $800 is probably a good deal for anyone that wants one.

First time I ever knew these existed, it was a youtube video of someone firing one they'd just assembled. They loaded it up, charged it, first round through the upwards ejecting side sent the cartridge straight up, and right back down into the port jamming it. They cleared it, did it again.

I still want one for no good reason, but it's definitely a flawed idea.

The 2 10/22 receivers mount in the Gatling gun kit on their sides with magazines facing outwards horizontally Barry,

So standing behind it, the left receiver ejects straight down helped by gravity and the right receiver ejects straight up fighting gravity.

Less energetic ammo tends to generate failure to fully eject events on the right receiver which jams the action and then it starts hitting on one cylinder (left receiver firing only) which is not nearly as pleasing as when it's hitting on both cylinders.

They're a hoot when they're running right!

it's not all about just eating up ammo...the machine, that's eating up that ammo, has a bit to do with it too...

my best friend's wife goes through tons of 9mm with different pistols, but she goes totally gaga over using up ammo in my Uzi..she says it's just way more fun, than just blasting away with any of the mundane things that she, and her hubby have..

Mixed reports but mostly positive Raztus. If I ever get mine installed I'll let you know!

Quite few discussions about it over the years.

Once I got my FA trigger installed in their trigger housing (aluminum no less!) it's been good-to-go!
