I'm looking for a gun rest primarily for zeroing scopes and shooting groups with my 10-22s.

My local Walmart has the Caldwell Lead Sled Solo for $68, while Bass Pro will be having the Champion Gunrest for $49 (normally $129.99) on Black Friday.

Obviously, prise wise, the Champion one seems the better deal. Still I'm not sure if it's a better product than the Caldwell one. I don't have experience with either product, so any input would appreciated.

I'd prefer the one which is sturdiest, has the more precise adjustments, and one that is suitable for a lefty shooter.

I have and don't care for the lead sled unless you are shooting large caliber. These rests that have the rear arm to cradle the butt of the gun , for me interfere with me getting positioned for proper eye relief with a scoped rifle. Also by their very nature they are heavy to dampen the recoil. I mostly shoot 22 rim fires and varmint rifles so I don't need the recoil reduction. With that said , I do like the Caldwell Matrix also.
