BX-15 Magnum magazine from Ruger

They didn't work for me

Saw a pair of the BX15 at my local dealer, bought them both, loaded them up and put them in my brand new Ruger 17hmr Stainless, click nothing, click nothing had to change the ammo to the original 9 rotary magazine, the rifle shot, I cycled the 8 remaining bullets all good, loaded the second BX15 click, nothing, wiggled it around it fired, then jammed, spit 2 bullets out at once, cycled 2 ok, jammed again, brought them home and filed the crap out of them. The back looked way different than my original mag, the sides too and the rails, after filing them they ran better with the odd jam on extraction, misfire or but still way more than what I would expect on a Ruger rifle. mean while the regular magazine will cycle no issues, my dealer was kind enough to give me my money back for them.

Maybe I just had bad luck and bought the 2 bad ones in the batch, but here in Canada they are more expensive so I couldn't afford to keep them and play around with them.
