Yes.. they do..
Also ..?
If this means anything ...
Cheap ammo with the Tin hulls.. not brass.
The ejector shotguns don't ejection them very well.
But these folders have huge ejectors. And will eject everything.
They pry the hulls out .....p.s. I didn't explain that very well did I?
....
Yes bennelli mobile chokes..

I'm sure you are wondering about the tape.
It's so you don't pinch yourself when shutting the barrel.
The trigger guard moves backwards.
I pinched myself..
Yeah.. I know. Don't put your finger there..lol.
But for 89 bucks or in that neighborhood..
It's cheap. And it doesn't matter what it looks like...And I think blue is my favorite color...
I HIGHLY recommend getting one.

I've watched a YouTube.. he replaced the trigger spring. Cut the pound age in half he said.
One more thing...
The ATI .. with the hammer. Is much easier to open.
Because you manually cock the hammer yourself.
The hammerless .. the release lever is in front of the trigger guard.. it's extremely stiff to cock and open.
Just from my experience of owning both systems.
.....
Then again ? If you going to set it up as a turkeys gun.. drill and tap it for a rail .. or buy one with a rail..
Hammer less would be ok with a scope.
Would just have to live with the hard cooking on opening.

I have the 20ga Nomad model. 18" barrel but fixed Mod choke. Great under the seat shotgun. I think it was $89.00 couple years ago. It kicks with buckshot and yes keep your finger away from the trigger guard. When I got it the folding was stiff. So I watched a movie and worked it for almost 2 hours. Easy and smooth now.

Ha.. very true.
I worked mine 💯 times...
Same deal.. watching Rooster Cogburn..
(Great Movie).
I didn't clean it ,or oil it.
Much much smoothly now.
Yours have a vent Rib ?
Kinda wish mine had a vent rib.
But I do have screw in chokes. That's a plus.
Price is still about the same. Well worth it , in my humble opinion 😉.....

Not long ago I purchased /three/ of these exact models, in 20ga; short-bbl, fixed chokes (Medium, pretty sure).
The plan for them is basically compact-storage 'truck' guns once I'm retired. Offers a lot of utility for ~$100 shipped.

I confess to not having shot them yet, but they shouldn't be too bad. I'd imagine the comparable 12ga is somewhat less enjoyable to shoot, however.

My late father raised me with his high opinion of the 20ga as a utility gun, and I see no reason to change my outlook in that regard. I still have /a lot/ of 2-3/4" lead #6's from the old days - perfect for upland game of opportunity.

Pulling back the hammer isn't its best feature however, what with it being so truncated. I do have strong thumbs so it's not bad, but I wouldn't mind more purchase in wet/etc conditions. I was thinking to use a hard file or Dremel wheel (I do have a steady hand & am quite good with a Dremel) to sharpen its top surface (it's not checkering, what do you call them, just grooves ?).

You know, that's a very interesting idea. I'm actually running a small project at the moment where I've been upgrading a couple of those (both narrow- and wide-hammer Marlin generations) with a second, opposing set screw for more solid attachment:

It wouldn't take much effort to add a very small 'divot' to both sides of the ATI hammer (to match the existing Marlin hammer divots as shown in the pic series above), if they end up being close to fitting ...

I will report back after I've had the opportunity to at least try out the narrow-version extension, which I have yet to install on an early Marlin. If the fit on the ATI hammer is at least close, it will be worth it to modify the aftermarket stud so as to fit the ATI's hammer. Will certainly update by mid-week. (y)
