Any interest in NRL22 matches in DFW?

I'm plotting and scheming to host a monthly match in DFW (about 20 minutes from Six Flags, not an hour out in the country). I'm thinking of doing the NRL22 monthly COF with maybe 1 or 2 club stages, nothing past 100 yards. If there is interest, I would consider registering with NRL22 when the new season starts in June but initially these will be outlaw/practice matches.

I'm still in the planning and approval process but I wanted to see what kind of interest there might be for this. If you are in the DFW area, please chime in and let me know what your interest level is. If you are a lurker or generally anti-social, feel free to PM me instead and I'll promise not to respond.

If you don't know where DFW is, this is probably not the post for you. But thanks for reading.

Oh, I see that I can add a poll. Well, nothing bad could happen from that, right?

My biggest deal is six flags being the reference point for me makes it a little prohibited, the real hold back for me is I typically work Mon-sat and everyone always wants to have their matches on sat.

there already NRL matches in denton/Sanger , try to not conflict with their schedule.

Sunday may be an option. When are the NRL matches in Sanger? According to the NRL website I thought the closest options were Corsicana or Abilene. I know they are doing some ERL/PRS rimfire matches in Valley View, but the 7am start time is an issue for me.
And if it makes you feel better, I can say its 20 minutes from the ballpark/death star. Or 20ish minutes from downtown FW.

There's currently no NRL22 matches in the DFW area that I'm aware of. There was a club between Greenville and Commerce. They went to PRS22 and, from what I hear, they're no longer holding matches there

There's a club in N. Denton/Sanger (NTSA) but we don't have NRL/PRS22 style matches

There's a PRS club just north of Valley View. North Texas Rimfire League. They're still holding matches. Great group of guys. They have a FB page. Look them up if anyone's interested

I'm currently active in RFBR but I like the NRL22 format and would try to make the matches I can. It depends on when and how far of a drive it is for me (I'm near DFW Airport)

As of today, I can finally announce that we are hosting official monthly NRL22 matches at the Arlington Sportsmen's club in Mansfield TX. Our monthly matches are the 3rd Sunday of the month, the September course of fire will be shot on Sunday, September 15th. Shooter's meeting will start at 10, the gate will be open by 9 for zeroing. The match will be held on Range C. We usually have 10 to 20 shooters at our matches and run two or three squads, we try to be wrapped up by 12:30ish.

The matches are open to all shooters, you don't need to be a member of the club or an NRL member to shoot. COF will be the NRL22 COF with one bonus stage, so around 75 rounds or so. Please note that the club is a private club, it is only open to guests for matches.

And this may be important to some people, we do have nice bathrooms with running water just a few steps from the range.

Price is $10 for club members, $15 for everyone else.
Please note that it is a club rule that all shooters wear appropriate EYE protection. We don't have extras so remember to bring your own.

PM me if you have any questions. There is no need to pre-register or RSVP, just show up if you want to shoot and don't if you don't.

Thanks,
Scott
