I bought a Mitchell Reel collectors reference book years ago for about 65$ new. If you can find one now they are 300$ plus.

I decided I wanted to order a book from Pauline Muerrle...glad I did. It arrived yesterday and it has many interesting items in it. The Way It Really Was 243 pages of history including stories, photos and interviews with former employees. Highly recommended! Great job Pauline! As I own several Model 9422's I also ordered "Son of a Gun" which hasn't arrived yet.

 

Kudos to you fellows who have the book ordered. I own a like new 9422XTR and that book would be nice. However, I'm almost 80 years young and I have a lot of good gun books laying around right now so I Probably will not be ordering one for myself.

 

wproct, I just this morning, took an old friend of mine to breakfast. He turns 90 in June. Uses a cane now, but gets around really well and his mind is sharp as a tack. You worked your whole life, saved your money and now you're retired. At this stage of the game what are you saving it for? Order that book if it turns your fancy, kick back in your favorite chair and enjoy it. You only go around once. Don't throw in the towel yet, I bet you have another ten years left in you also.
