Can anyone recommend an air pistol/rifle with a threaded barrel for under $100? Thanks.

I have not seen any made with a TB... I am sure it can be done but I question WHY? Most muzzle devices for airguns are slip on with a set screw... If you are thinking of adding some sort of suppression device I still dont see the reason for a TB... Muzzle pressures are in no way high enough to require such a strong attachment method...

A suppressor does help , it makes a big difference to even a BB gun. I am also looking for a pellet gun with a threaded barrel that means at the end of the barrel for a suppressor. You can get a adapter that fits at the end of a barrel that is a set screw, and the other end threaded, but you will have to do some modifications to make that work. Or just get the end of the barrel threaded. I have a supercharger, vortex, pistol, pellet gun that has a threaded barrel, but it’s heavy as hell.

I have been modifying and shooting Crosman of the 2240 variety and derivatives for many years and I agree with Vee3 100%. The 2240 is a great pistol. Vee3 didn't mention that the 2240 shoots very small patterns and is very consistent at it.
It uses standard size CO2 cartdriges that Walmart always carries. Each cartridge is good for about 25 shots.
I do prefer it in .22 caliber as it carries more energy and is good on squirrels and other criters of that size (or smaller).
You can order it from Crosman customer services in different configurations and it will come with a pretty decent trigger.
There are entire forums dedicated to the Crosman airguns as well as a lot of manufacturers of custom parts.
Can't get wrong getting one.

A little above your budget, but you get the rifle and pistol barrels:

I own one and it is a blast to shoot, accurate, and quiet with the moderator on either barrel.

The "moderator" can be removed from the rifle barrel by heating it up a little in the oven to loosen the lock-tite they use.

I shoot mine regularly in the pistol configuration @ 10 yards using a pistol scope in my apartment and have had no complaints from my neighbors.
