I saw this somewhere else, I thought it might have been a joke or a one-off deal, but there are pics of at least a couple of pallets of these things with Federal lot #s even. Maybe Federal even packaged these for some crazy order.

That is 12 cases for $416 per case. I think I would pass for that price. It will be down to under $250 per case in a few months (maybe a year) if no panic comes back.

Not really a good deal. I personally would not expect anything stored in bulk in a barrel to be particularly accurate. Too much chance for damage.

 

I have kinda wanted a Golden Bullet 'bucket o' bullets' just to say that I had a 'bucket of bullets' for amusement (and GBs function well for me) & I like having a wide variety, but... I think I'll have to draw the line and pass on '55 gallon drum o' bullets'.

 

So where was this a year ago? They would have made a killing selling this in no time to some suckers. Now that things are starting to loosen up,they are dumping their horde.

Hope they choke on it.

Edit* Looks like it's some prepper type "store" where you can pick up your year supply of beans and beef jerky then bunker down in the basement waiting for zombie apocalypse surrounded by 1,000,000 rounds of 22LR . Speaking of which, I blame some of the ammo panic to those boring prepper shows that were pretty popular a couple of years ago. I think they're gone now,hopefully. Will build up ammo count on a regular basis little by little from now on.

I just don't think I want to go hog hunting with FMJ ammo.

 

Plus, hunting the Predator (Get To Dah Choppah!!!) with .22LR seems rather.... Suicidal.... To me, after all, he *does* have a "shoulder thing that goes up"...

It is much easier to count cases. I would only have to count up to 12.
