I have 4 of Mr Reed's stainless magazines and will soon be ordering more. The 4 that I have function perfectly without any tweaking.

 

I got tired of glueing my grandson's 581 magazine back together & ordered one of Reed's magazines: a work of art & should last forever.

 

I've had two of them for years and they still work and look great.

 

I'm another happy user of Reed's magazines.

Apparently I've got to have so many postings before the PM function will turn on. I did find John's info on this website and that's how I got in touch with him. I'm considering ordering a third mag so that I have enough for the NRL22 shoots at the local club. But I'm gonna have to learn to do a quick mag change. What I did learn is that the mags are heavy enough so that all I have to do is hit the release and they drop out of the way. What I learned at the shoot was that most relays are either 10 shot or 12 which forces a mag change. As you learned @gmail will get you there.

 

If he only made a steel 10-mag . . . .

 

Actually he does make a ten round mag, they're made to order and are $80 plus $5 shipping. I just ordered another 5 round mag this morning.

I just got two from John for my 581. What an improvement over the plastic ones. mine worked great with no tweaking needed.
