Has any done a range test comparing the two barrels. Also, what does Lilja do to his barrels that CZ doesn't do to the factory barrels, that makes them more accurate?

Lija is known for his match grade barrels primarily used by bench rest shooters who are looking for any edge in accuracy. The barrels made by CZ are general use barrels and while they are excellent, they are made with the average shooter in mind. A couple of folks here have picked up the Lija's but I have not seen any extended reports as of yet. I plan on picking up a 17 HM2 barrel from Lija when he starts building them, as for at least the present CZ is not offering that caliber barrel for the 455. See link below to Dan's site for a better explanation on his process than I can give. :)

I too would be very interested to see a proper side by side accuracy test. One problem is the bias factor though with this sort of thing, ie if you have just spent 360 dollars on your new barrel you WANT it to perform better. All the same getting a 455 and then Lilja barrel is an idea I have considered too, but I would like to see a bit more feedback first though.
