39A ejector arm...

Hi fellow gun nerds,
So I picked up a 39A a few months ago and have been having fun learning about the model.
In the process of cleaning it up and getting its kinks worked out , I replaced a few parts and springs.
One of the components groups is the ejector base , arm and spring. The previous owner must have had some troubles because the 2 screws that hold the base were buggered. Luckily there are replacements made . I believe they were attempting to address a mechanical issue , it was running rough , they may have made a stab at removing the base but failed due to inexperience and lack of tools . (not that tooling is a big issue with this, but)
So , I kroiled the screws and got them out with out further damage and got the base assembly out and stripped it .
What I found surprised me. This rifle didn't looked heavily used. Guess they wiped it down and even cleaned it occasionally, but they were stumped by those base screws.
The part that had failed surprised me. It wasn't the spring , the ejector arm wore through !
How many rounds would they have to cycle before they wore through the ejector arm. It was ready to fall off the mounting pin. Again a remanufactured part was available and alls well that ends well.
But what do you folks think ? How many rounds would an arm cycle before arm failure ?
Any idea ? Guesses ?
Has anyone else had this part fail ? I 'spose so because the part is being sold , but still curious how common this is.
