I agree for the most part. The old adage about each gun being particular to it's preferred ammo is based largely in fact. Too many times I've found a lot that shot "lights out" in one or two guns but was only mediocre in other guns.

The only thing I will add is that most outstanding lots of good ammo do tend to shoot well in more guns.

But I would be careful about drawing too many concrete conclusions from that particular test.

5 shots vs 25

I took a few of these 5 shot groups and overlayed on top of each other to form one 25 shot group. I used On Target to analyze the 25 shot group. In some cases it more than doubled the stated MOA from the 5 shot analysis.

This supports the argument that you can't tell much about the accuracy of the gun and ammo from small groups.
