I love the stock and forearm on your Sporster. Mine just has the synthetic. Mine is a 22lr and shoots okay at best. But still good enough to take squirrel at 25 yards and in. Yours is beautiful.

I recently purchased a sportster in 17 mach2. Have not shot it yet. Does anyone know if wood forearm and stock from another NEF would fit? I have 3 other SB2 rifles. Thanks in advance.

I changed the synthetic stocks on one of the original heavy barreled 17 hmr Sportster to the laminate stocks that came on the heavy barreled 22mag Sportster.

 

Well the Weaver 2x8 scope is junk. Adjusted all the way right it was still a foot left . I have a no name vintage 4x post recticle scope that has sentimental value to me, the scope is clear and has worked on other guns. I got it mounted, but surgery on my foot 3 weeks ago has kept me inside. I managed to get to the range today. After 8 shots I had 3 rounds touching dead center. I shot a few more just to confirm. This is a sweet little gun

 

I sold off all my 22 mag. The H&R 22 mag Handirifle was unbelievably accurate with Winchester 40 grain.

I'd like to find a Sportster in .22WMR or maybe the .17. Our .22LR has been great but we could use more energy on the larger predators.

 

I have a sportster in 17hmr. I mounted a Redfield 6x24x50 scope on it. Use it at 200 yrs on clay birds. Then use it on the broken pieces. It shoots fine.
