Finally got out today to shoot my new CZ 457 Varmint MTR
Conditions;
Temperature 93 F
Hummid
Windy Gusting 20-30 out of south southwest
Shooting from south to north
50 yards from Cadwell Rock and Cadwell rear bag.
Vortex Diamondback 5-24x50 FFP

Shot some Aguila HV to get on paper and get the scope close. Grouped about like I would expect.

Next I shot CCI Standard Velocity

Next CCI Target Red Stripe, I was quite impressed with this 15 shot group.

And finally Norma Tac-22 Red Box I was happy with this also.

I'm very happy so far, considering the wind. And the first time out. The rifle is bone stock, I have not adjusted the trigger. Used a 15 MOA Warme picatinny rail and Weaver Grand Slam rings. I plan to go out Sunday. Hopefully it won't be so windy I've have some Eley flavors to test and some SK Rifle Match (the red) This rifle will be a great if I can do my part.

Very good shooting! I assume those were at 50 yards? If those groups were at 100 yards you and your rifle are world class.
My MTR had a horrible trigger from the factory. Minimum adjustment was just under 3 pounds. I replaced it with a Timney and tremendous difference. Many guys do a spring change and others use a Jard trigger. Just search MTR trigger and there's a multitude of information.
EDIT-You did say 50 yds. Too early for reading comprehension.

My trifecta (Is three a crowd?)
Top Bergara B14R
Middle CZ 457 MTR
Bottom Tikka T1X Ace Target

All have Arken EP5, 5x-25x 56mm scopes on them.\The Bergara and CZ have Harris bipods mounted to sling swivels and the Tikka is a Magpul bipod on the ARCA rail.
So far, all three shoot similar size groups to what yours does.
I have only fired CCI SV in them to date.
The Tikka with the chassis is much more expensive than the conventional stock models.
All three shoot better than I do. I do not have a favorite at this time.
