10/22 Charger with brace, 10/22 Takedown Backpacker, or CP33 with brace?

Hi all! Just looking for opinions on what would be the most practical compact suppressor host for a primary general purpose 22 (pest control, small game hunting, and plinking):

10/22 charger with brace and red dot
10/22 takedown (magpul backpacker) with barrel mounted red dot
Keltec CP33 with brace and red dot

Out of the charger and the backpacker, which is lighter/more compact when stored? Is the 5.5” barrel of the CP33 going to keep bulk pack 22 subsonic vs the 8” barrel of the charger? Any general input on how the platforms compare? Thanks!!

Since you are looking for a compact gun I would go for the Stribog 22lr first. Amazing gun. Easy to shoot accurately and very fast. Love this thing. With mcarbo trigger springs trigger is 1 lb 14 oz.

You may also want to consider any target pistol paired with a red dot and universal brace. Here’s my buckmark as an example. The brace will fit on any med to full size pistol. It’s held on by your grip only.

If it ever comes out I’m buying the hk g36 pistol. I have the rifle version and it’s fun and accurate.

as a budget option these are $199 at sportsman’s warehouse and it’s a great gun. Thread adapter is $26 and universal brace is $89.

or $264 for Walther longer barrel version in black color. Irons only though. Note that pistol is more sound than subgun size and that is more sound than rifle. Also 10/22 has a loud action compared to other guns. Just depends on how important sound is to you.

I have a Charger that I SBRed. It started life braced but I wanted to use it for steel challenge and in that form couldn't be used. But as a SBR became legal. It wears the Ruger furniture so no weight cut there. I did move to a TacSol 8' barrel and saved some weight there and made it far more accurate. A BX trigger completed it. Later I did add a KIDD DLC bolt just because I run it silenced and that makes it easier to clean.

Weight? 4#. But if I move to a light weight chassis that can be reduced. It's light enough IMO. Small for transport? Yup. Breaking it down no part is longer than 10.5 inches and that was the scope that never goes on it anymore.

The "problem" with a SBR, is that if someone thinks you've misused it the feds get involved. Something to consider.

I wanted to make a tool roll for it but as of now I haven't. The red dot uses lever type mounts and it returns to zero (so did the scope).
