Are there any monthly places to compete in Rimfire Steel Challenge in SoCal (specifically near Riverside)? I see that there is a place in the High Desert, but any other places holding monthly competitions?

Go to practiscore.com. You can search the "Matches" tab in the top bar without having to register/join. Scroll down the left side and select a "State" scroll down further and select "Steel Challenge."
The benefit of joining is you can register online for any match listed on Practiscore and most matches will also let you chose your squad. It's fee to join and use. Most matches also have online payment for match fees.
The Southwest Pistol League has monthly Steel Challenge matches at the Gopher Flats shooting range in Sylmar. Next match is May 27.
The Palm Spring Gun Club also has Steel Challenge matches in Thousand Palms. Next match is May 28th.
I don't Facepalm, but I believe both clubs have Facepalm pages that may have more information.
